    Avui enceto el meu període de vacances estivals que s’allargarà fins al 31 d’agost. A banda de descansar i d’alguna que altra feineta, m’he preparat alguna que altra lectura interessant:

    I si em resta temps vull començar-me a introduir en la programació amb JSP. Alguna recomanació al respecte?

  2. PCBurn examina Ubuntu 5.04

    La gent de PCBurn ha realizat un exàmen a Ubuntu 5.04, la distribució basada en Debian de Canonical, amb unes conclusions força bones:

    Ubuntu has created an extremely pleasing desktop environment. Once the install is finished (only an issue for an unexperienced user) the system itself performs very well. Default applications and preferences have been thought out to make the user instantly productive. People looking for a Debian based system or new Linux users wanting to “get into” it will find this an excellent desktop OS.

  9. Firefox 1.1 es dirà 1.5

    Finalment Firefox 1.1 no s’anomenarà així, segons llegeixo a a.css, es produirà un salt de la versió 1.1a2 (Deer Park Alpha 2) a la 1.4 (Firefox 1.5 Beta) que portarà a la definitiva 1.5 que encara no té data aproximada de sortida, si bé serà dins d’aquest any.

    Podeu llegir-ne més informació al RoadMap de Firefox i al Supernova_00′s Blog.

    De moment no està clar si Thunderbird seguirà el mateix camí, ja que al seu RoadMap encara apareix la nomenclatura “Thunderbird 1.1″.

  10. Paquet d’Ubuntu per a Firefox erroni

    Segons llegeixo a Ubuntu Forums, sembla que el paquet d’Ubuntu per actualitzar el Firefox que s’ha distribuit avui és erroni i dona molts problemes.

    Actualització: A Ubuntu ja s’han posat a treballar per solucionar el problema.
